Im 26, small , 5'7'' 140lbs , inexperienced rider this will be my first bike.
I wont be racing, will mostly ride trails and such.
There is a very clean 2005 Kawasaki KLX 125 for $950 .. looks barely ridden.
Then there are a few KX 125's, one is a 2004 for $1500,
another is a 2004 TTR 125 for 1300.
Im wondering, will these bikes fit me well? is a 125 too small for me? What should i look for/lookout for when i go to see the bike..(besdies that it runs and shifts through gears.. thats all i know really lol) .. ?
thanks a lot for your replies ,

theres also a 2003 TTR for $1050 that looks like its in good shape too.. real clean.

The TTR125 and KLX125 are not going to have enough power for you and the KX125 is a Two stroke motocross bike..it will have twice the power of the KLX or TTR but it is not vary good for trails....
I would wait around and look for a Honda XR200/250 or a yamaha TT250

thanks for the reply 2stroke..
i actually just located a 2000 YZ250 i think im going to go look at it tomorrow,

A YZ250 is alot of bike for a beginner.

yea that is a concern of mine too.. if im riding in the woods, am i just going to be in 1st gear/stalling out all the time on this 250?
i havent really been around dirtbikes much, ive only owned 1 vintage bike a '73 CT3 175cc yamaha , it fit me well.. i think a 125 would suit me speed wise but i dont know if it would fit me size wise.

i have a 04 ttr 125 its fun for back yard racin and going for a run/ride with my german shepards ( they run i ride) but it sits pretty low for some serious trail riding and the suspension cant keep alot of weight from bottoming out on serious bumps the footpegs scrape sometimes
a two stroke might be the power and suspension you want but probly not a yz250 if your riding trails and your just beginning
a 200-250cc fourstroke might be more ideal

A YZ250 is way too much power for a beginner and a 125 2 stroke wont make a good trail bike, I know because I own one.
