Is this an okay price for a quad?

I know this isnt a four wheeler forum, but I trust the opinions I recieved in the past. I am looking at an 05 yfz 450. Its bone stock with low hours and very very clean. Is $3000 a good deal or no? I want to try the whole quad thing but dont want to lose money if I dont like it. Thanks in advance.
