07 crf 450r hard to kick

Just got head work done all new parts and when i put it together the compression is ridiculously tight. Feel almost seized when you try to kick it. Runs great when you get it started. Pretty sure i put the dempressor in correctly looked like only one way it could go. when it is at top dead center is their a certain way that dowel should be in our out? Or what else can i check? I spun the cam 180 and put it back together. You kick it once it feels great the next kick is that same seized feeling any ideas?

double check your cam timing. There is an arrow on the cam tower that will line up with the hash mark on the cam gear when the Flywheel is at the TDC mark.

Yeagh thanks i think it must have slipped a tooth when i let the tension back on and justed moved a tooth. Its good now thanks.
