2000 Kawasaki KDX200
This bike has been trail ridden only by my two children. It’s a “family bike” that was passed from my son to my daughter four years ago. I am the second owner but I have owned it almost since it was new. The bike had less than 100 miles on it when I purchased it from a local dealer. The bike is mechanically and cosmetically perfect and has several modifications to make it a great trail bike for a shorter developing rider.
It has RaceTech (Gold Valves) suspension valving front and rear…..much improved over stock valving.
It has heavier fork springs (the stock springs belong in an ink pen) to keep the front end up in the plush range of the stroke.
It has a slightly longer linkage (Koubalinks) for the rear suspension which lowers the seat height about an inch and a half. I also have the original links….a ten minute job to change them.
It has a full FMF exhaust and appropriate jetting modifications. It runs very cleanly and has never fouled a spark plug even when plonking around in first gear. The stock exhaust is still in fine condition and goes with the bike.
MSR handguards and EE deflectors are installed on a set of aluminum 7/8 bars.
In addition:
The bike has a new Wiseco Prolite piston as well as decent Michelin S-12 tires, sprockets, and o-ring chain. It has been maintained throughout its life by a fanatic (Dad) with many years of riding and wrenching experience.
All of the plastic is original and in outstanding shape. The original seat cover is still in perfect condition and hiding beneath the installed gripper cover.
This is just a great single track trail bike for a beginner to intermediate rider.

Bump for Badgerman's bike...I just saw this bike last weekend - it is absolutely the nicest looking KDX around. Superb shape, well maintained.
