Bike dies when throttle closed

Just wanted to get your thoughts on how my bike is running. Starts and warms up fine (will sit and idle). When I take off it runs ok when Im on the gas (feels a little rough with light throttle) but when I close the throttle and am still rolling the motor stops firing. If I get back on the gas it will fire back up. Ive totally cleaned the carb and have installed new plugs but the problem still exists. Any ideas? 1970 AT1 125 Enduro
