Jeff
Its because of folks like you that the masses have something to enjoy, I am happy to know you and proud of all that you do. Thanks.

Magoo, I know only a fraction of the countless hours you and other Sandstomers (especially the Escanaba crew) did in getting that trail in. I just want express my appreciation and say a big THANK YOU to you and everyone involved in getting the Moss Lake Trail on the map!! I can't wait to ride the whole 26 miles now!!!

it's abt 25 miles SW of Manistique - just north off US-2 -FH13 to 2231 east a mile
N45 56.596

It just takes patience to get new trail. A few hoops to jump thru, a few bureaucrats to talk to, and it can be done! Any interested person or club CAN accomplish the same! I hope that more will take on the challenge.

Thanks to the Directors Order, along with Forest Service regs, the trail will be maintained and enforced as Motorcycle Only. Those of you that know the Sandstormers, know that the trail will be single track!

Here's who you all need to thank:

Thanks for the reply man! I was over in Cheboygan area for the last ten days and was planning on stopping there on my way back to Wisconsin. Unfortuantely my plans where dashed when I took out the stator on my CRF450X and my clutch on my 450SX.

Thanks guys!!

We blend in well with the terrain. Especially the Nickster. I seriously do not think this trail would have happened without Magoo being on point for all those years. Just so ya know, his favorite Summer beer is Oberon. He deserves several
Oh, and yes the trail is tight. My current nonstop pace around the loop was 2 hours 15 minutes. Once the frost knocks down the ferns, I'm sure the average Joe like myself should be able to finish the loop in 2 hours.

Appreciate your keeping the trail used (ferns knocked down) so we can see/find the trail, for us downstaters that can't get there every weekend, like we'd like to be able to do. Not possible with the almost 6 hour drive but still hope to get back there at least 2 more times this summer (before frost kicks in) - there's a bunch of guys that would love that trail if I can ever get them there to ride it!

Just follow the orange dots. By the way, I'll be expecting a full write up on the Loose Moose and why you never made it to check 10 for that ice cold beer. Sounds like the Ohio crew had a good time Good seeing you guys again.
