2003 crf 230?

Hi there! I am looking at a 03 crf 230 that is for sale on ebay. The guy selling it lives right down the road from me and I can go check it out to see if it is worth the money. The guy is selling the bike for 500 dollars and it hasn't been run since 07. What kind of things should I look for when I check out the bike??

That sounds kinda scary. I'm guessing he blew it up in 07 and that's why it hasn't ran since. I'd probably steer clear of this one and keep looking.

Thanks I agree now that I have thought about it. Plus the guy is kind of flaky and doesn't respond to my emails. 5oo bucks for an 03 is a little toooo cheap.

I'd sure as heck go look at it and see if it runs. Won't hurt to look, unless he is so flaky you might end up buried in the backyard or something.....
