Congrats! (you actually convinced them you were a novice in the pee wee class?)

Posted by: Farmer John---------------------

What did you race?

Posted by: High Lord Gomer---------------------

The hard part was convincing them that the noise was an aftermarket exhaust and not my intestinal disorder!

Actually, there were only 2 of us in the Old Fart class and the other guy didn't show for the 2nd moto after the commanding 2 second win I had in the first moto.

I rode my oldest son's 05 CRF250. Tommy rode his KX85 and had a good time, but no wood (plastic).

So......

What kind of bike you going to get now???

Posted by: nikki---------------------

Congrats Goober.... and no spectacular crashes, so that is always a bonus! So now do you have that itch to get out there again sometime soon?

Posted by: GETMETOCA---------------------

No spectacular crashes....amazing!!! At your age especially!!!

(I am proud of you)

Posted by: Patman---------------------

A win is a win Gomer! I'm really glad the post didn't start "I did this jump I had never done before...."

Posted by: Ol'89r---------------------

My hero.

Posted by: RM_guy---------------------

I guess there's hope for the rest of us!!!

Posted by: High Lord Gomer---------------------

Thanks, everyone! Yes, I have the itch but I'm going to get a D/S or street bike first.

Danny will get off work in time to make the next one, so I will most likely be there for round 2 of their mini-series.

I was quite pleased that neither Tommoy nor I ever crashed at all Saturday night!

I know what you mean!!!

I got that KLX650 that you rode for $600 & then put another ~$500 in it.
The XR600 was traded for a set of tires, & now I have another ~$400 in it.
They might be over weight crap, but they serve their purpose quite well.
