ok so i just got this and cant find anymore anywere on the internet why ? it is a 1985 model Gilera NX250 motocross any pix and links would be cool thanx B

thanks for the link but they dont even have anything on there site to do with this bike ? i have spoken to a uk gilera dealer and they havent heard of it either, but they THINK? that it was possibly imported privately from italy ! so i am still looking for pic's and info on this bike.

There is a forum for English speaking Gilera owners on the link Rich gave you. My guess is that is where the English speaking guys who might have pics and info on Gileras hang out.
Maybe you should post about it there? Just a thought...

yeah thanks did that and still no gilera nx 250 ? but i have found 1 on ebay italy that needs a rebuild for bids starting at 800 euros, so they must be rare, thanks for your help but still looking .

ok, cant find any pictures so i will ask the experts 'you lot' it has a rotary reed valve, my question is where in relation to the piston being at its lowest point in the barrel should the rotery reed valve be ? (its the 1/2 circle type) so should the 'open' half be at the top or bottom when the piston is lowest ? hope that makes sence.
