Buying New Plastics

I have a 2000 KX250. Im looking to buy new plastics for it, but before I did, I wanted to know if I buy plastics for a 2000 will the front and rear fenders look like the year 2000 style. Or will they look like the 2002 up style plastics? Does it depend who I Buy them From?
