They are certainly out there..just have to keep an eye on the "want ads" and Craig's list. Ebay..sometimes.
I would like to build a OSSA Stilleto four speed to run in that pre 1970 class. That to complement my 1979 KTM 420.

Just want one to fix up ride no racing plus i just messed up my back on a jump.Some of them just way out of my price range something blown up would be a place to start, machine shop work not a problem.

I know where a Husqvarna 430XC is and also where a Yamaha TT500 is. Both are in running condition and both need TLC...but are restorable.

do you know what there asking for the husky or yamaha? where abouts in ny?

The Husqvarna is in Cortland and the Yamaha in Truxton. I'll find out what they want.

The guy with the Yamaha wants too much he wants $1000 but My hunch is he will take less. Its actually in good shape. Just a bear to start.
The Husky XC430 .. $1300 Firm with some other parts to go along with it. Extra fork & pipe. Tires, Chain & sprockets good. Wheel and swingarm bearings tight. Hard to start. Needed intake manifold..the rubber part. Also needs a silencer to be right. Some goofy stuff but in reasonable shape. The shocks were good as well.
