Greetings...

With plug removed and grounded to case, the visible spark on my 1998 KDX 200R is very tiny when engine turned over - only visible at night actually - not like the bright blue spark I am used on 4 strokes I've owned which could be seen in shadow during daylight. Is this normal?

A fellow at a motor cycle shop said this is normal for some 2 strokes... but would like the KDX-experts to offer their thoughts.
