What a great enduro! Had a blast!!! The marsh madness section was awesome. Thanks for all the hard work you put in - looking forward to next years!

Posted by: bterp67---------------------

I'll second that on the Marsh Madness section. It was my favorite section. More of that for next year!
Thanks LMC.

Fun event, I'm going to turn in a little early tonight. Marsh section was fun, you need to be a bit twisted to like that stuff.

Posted by: YZMAN400---------------------

Was it wet over there. I really wanted to stop by today as I was in the area yesterday for the 6-days. We got dumped on Saturday with monsoon rains. Higgens was standing water. I can only imagine what it was like racing in all that.

Posted by: cmore---------------------

Come on guys, your killing us. Who won? Sgt johansen and I are dying to know!

If u can read thank a teacher, and since it is english thank a soldier!!

Posted by: TJC510---------------------

im not sure who won, they changed some stuff after i looked at everything, all i know was i moved after that change.

it was sporadic light rain, on and off the whole event, nothing heavy or long. enough to cool you off and keep the dust down.

seen quite a few soldiers out there walking down the roads we were riding on. i was wondering if you two where there or not.

i absolutely loved the marsh madness section. i wish you could do an entire enduro with stuff like that.

Thanks to all who helped put on another great Pine Cone and Jack Pine enduro. I had a blast and as others have said, loved the Marsh madness section too! I am betting quite a few people will be cutting there bars down a little after that section . Great Job LMC!

Results are up: http://moto-tally.com/d14/ama/Resul...009&EID=3&vT=CT . Leonard Keen won with 38 points, Blair Bersano was 2nd with 41 points, and Chris Galt was 3rd with 42 points.

The Keen family has been riding the Jack Pine for many years. Leroy is the first to put his name on the back of the T shirt. Great ride!!!

Posted by: Don Marsh---------------------

Congrats to Leroy on a great ride.

Glad everyone had a good time, it makes all of the work worth it.
Thanks Jeff Hunt for helping and giving me the section to put my name on!
Thanks to my family for the help and especially the "Race Nazi" for helping to clear the trail.

A big thanks to all who helped out and a special thanks to my E-Check crew for the help!

At my check I had a few riders comment on what a sick, sadistc, twisted Son of a #$%^& that Marsh was!

I just smiled and kept focusing on yelling out the minutes & seconds.......

Thanks to my so called "Friends" for the special "Stump Award" on Sat. night.

The actual stump that took me out last Saturday!

When I heard we had 266 riders this year tears formed in my eyes as it's been a long hard struggle to get the numbers back up from where they were in 2004. That year I don't believe we hit 100. It's taken a lot of people a lot of hard work to bring the Jack Pine back, the tree planters, the lobbiests in lansing, the trash pickers on the road ways and in the forests. I am proud of what has been accomplished and glad to be even a teeny tiny part of it. thanks to all of you that has helped in any of these activities. Long live Michigan Enduros!

Nice trophy don, your not the first guy done in by a beaver.

Special thanks to Greg, Kyler & Dylan Bradley for pulling all the arrows in the "Marsh Madness Section" yesterday.
I am really glad they took care of this for me, it wouldn't have been fun hobbling through the woods.

Factory Freddy Nathan's on 16. See if you can get Oh my knee is hurting Marshmellow to ride he needs it.

I am sad to see this weekend over with. It is one of the few I look forward to every year. Thanks LMC for a fabulous time.

If any LMC member finds my glasses, give them to someone to take to Marquette. I have not been able to find them anywhere. They must be on the ground somewhere where I camped. I am lucky just to be able to see to type. LMK

That was a lot of arrows to pull!! Kyler ran out of garbage bag space to gather them all in his portion of Marsh Madness (btn Oak and 24 two -track, so Sunday I will go in and retrieve the remaining mile or so that is left. Splitting the 9 mile section up between the three of us was quite the day of exercise.

Posted by: TCTrailrider---------------------

Greg,
thanks a bunch for pulling arrows. Had a feeling Peg Leg would be calling for help, now its not needed May get out there Fri. or Sat.. If I do, I'll get that last mile of arrows and send you a PM.

Posted by: SGJ_Johansen---------------------

I pulled 1 arrow on Camp Grayling and gave it to C-more. We were bummed that we did not get to do our test drive and watch so of you hauling the mail thru the woods.

Brian

Missed you there, but thanks for protecting our freedom to have great events safely.

Talked with your mom saturday, we picked up enough property to make Gowan a definite GO!
I'll need you when you have time to spare.

Just for you Freddy, I will put one on your front fender so YOU know which way to go... Oh yeah one section has a creek crossing with a 2x6 just for you.
