Changing fork oil

What is the best way to make sure all of the old fork oil/contaminants are out of my forks before I put the new oil in?

I have my thoughts but I am asking for others opinions.

Thanks.

The best way is to completely disassemble them and scrub them out with some parts cleaner . Kinda labor intense but is is realy the only way to get them cleaned out .

That is for the winter months.

I got some bad info and put the wrong weight/level oil in my forks and am going to change to what is suppose to have in it and a level more suited to my weight and riding style.

I went ahead and bought extra fork oil and flushed out both fork tubes with it and will put the new oil in with the correct level and see what happens.
