Honda XR 100?

Well, Im new to dirtbiking, and wondering if this is a good bike to get me started onto. Im 5'7, 130lbs. Its a 2001 Honda XR 100, in like pristine condition, for about $800. The TTR I was talking about earlier seems a little bit beat up looking. Do you guys think the XR is pretty good?I would post a pic, but image size is too large.

it seems like it would be an awfully small bike for your size. Maybe check out the ttr and xr/crf that are in the 200-400cc range so you get something that fits your height better.

You are about the same size as my oldest kids, and they test-fit a Honda CRF-150 which fit like a dream. I wish we could have bought it.

A 200-400cc bike...really?? He is 15 and weighs 130 with little experience. I might agree on an XR200...but no way on a XR400. I own an XR400 and there is no way I would turn this kid loose on my bike. Its too heavy and powerful for a 130 pound 15 year old.
