I have a 08 kx100 and a 03 kx 100 , can I use the same cdi box on each one ?

Does it fit? Does the plug pop in? Does the bike run when you plug it in? Since you got both try it and let us know. My gut reaction is yes but I don't have the bikes in front of me.

yes , it will fit and is exact in every way in outward appearance . I will try tomorrow to see 03 will run on the 08 cdi and will let you know.

I was having trouble with the cdi on the 08 and I have extra cdi for 03 and didnt want to uy new one if the 03 will work on the 08

those bikes have not changed beyond new graphics in years. If it plugs in probably work great.

I put the 08 cdi on the 03 and it ran just fine . We could tell no difference .
