hey all i recently bought what i thought was a 2002 Rm 250 but come to find out it is a 2002 frame with a 2000 bottom end on the motor and a 2002 top end i discoverd this after assembling the entire bike and noticing i had 2 different wire harneses that came with it well i tried to conect everything and kick it over and all was fine but i have no spark at the plug does anyone know if these two different years electronics are compatible? if not can they be made to be compatible? any help would be great

Hmmm. I would think you'd need the ignition from the bike the lower end came from.

You can try to match colors-to-colors of the two harnesses, or pay Eric Gorr's nominal tech-fee for a phone call to solve it quickly.
