Thats next. Pull the plug after it dies, dry or wet?

Sounds like a fuel supply issue. Like Foxforks said, pull the plug and see if it's wet or dry. Did you set the float height and make sure the in-tank strainer and any in line fuel filters were cleaned/replaced? New carb? Same as OE? What jetting?

My first guess based on the symptoms would be a plugged main jet. The other ideas presented are quite possible also. The fuel flow from the tank would be the easiest to test, remove the fuel line and open the valve (avoiding any ignition source). If that wasn't the problem, if my bike, the carburator would be off for a thourogh inspection/cleaning. Don't forget to inspect the passage the fuel flows from the fuel line through the float needle and seat for blockage also.
