brake problem

I am rebuilding/refurbishing a old XR 600 for a friend who is clueless mechanically.I am battling with binding brakes(disc type) front and back.(the bike stood outside for a year or so

I drained the fluid and pushed the piston back in the calipers, but same problem still there.Any help guys?

Take the pistons out.. I bet they are corroded..

You may be able to get away with using a scotchbrite to clean them and the bore.

Then put new seals in and you should be good to go.
