kx250 wont idle

new bottom end and top end doesnt like to idle when its warmed up it idles for a few seconds then dies any ideas?

adjust idle and idle air screw? don't worry about how it idles when it's cold. Warm it up and then adjust so that it idles well when it's at operating temp.

if you jet the carb properly and it is making good power in the lows and as long as ur on the throttle a little bit and it doesnt die, then the power continues to not be boging etc etc

but basically quit wining, it doesnt matter if it idles as long as everywhere above idle it wont die.
try riding a kx500 for a wile, you will learn to ride properly and not let it die wen coming into a corner or off the throttle.

whenever my 2001 cr250 was jetted to idle, the power and transitions from mid to high were not as hard hitting and didnt seem to respond as good as when played with the jetting it helped with the transition issues and the power felt like it pulled a little better but it wouldnt idle for even a couple seconds if i went off the throttle completely

Remove and clean your pilot jet.
