alittle help with bike sizes or type

hi looking for a good bike to fit a 11 year old son about a 34 inch seat hight puts him on tip toes but cc and 2 or 4 strok..hmm..he as out grown his old dr 100 (1985 still looks and runs great) he has way out grown power and size ..was thinking rm kx 85 but he is 155 lbs we woods a trial more than anything what about kdx 220 or 230 ttr 230 or crf 230 ....help and thanks

I'd get him a 2 stroke - it will be easier and cheaper to field and probably less shop time. You can send out the cylinder and do the assembly with him, have some quality time before you resurrect the green Frankenstein. Get the obligatory Monster Energy decals and he's set.

Had he mentioned mx 4 strokes, I'd agree. The CRF (not R) and TTR's are dead reliable.

The CRF230 is a neat little bike for that size of person. I suspect the blue bike would be similar but I have no direct experience with them. OR.... You could always go with a little bigger bike and then take an electric carving knife to the seat foam.

The CRF150 might work for him, the only issue may be power. Those CRF230s are around 240 pounds..that is alot of weight.
