Chest protector for kids

hey everyone,
recently bought my 8 yo son an EVS neck brace and BJ33 ballistic vest. Turns out they will not work together. Now I'm trying to figure out the best option for him. I would like something a little more than just a "roost deflector" that will work with his EVS RC evolution neck brace. He does mostly desert riding but may get into racing soon.
any help would be appreciated

I'd head to a shop and try a few to see what works with the EVS. You don't have to buy it there but I'm sure they would appriciate it.
That's the trouble with buying stuff off the Internet, can't tell how it all does or doesn't work together.
