shockdoc can i change my oil weight and height on my yz250 1999 to do hare scrambles can i just empty the fork and put new oil in without any bleeding

EV1,

You will need to bleed the forks after adding new fluid in order to properly re-set the oil height. If you choose to add fluid to a specified volume, you will not be able to ensure that you got all of the old fluid out, and then height a/o volume may not be what you think.
