Hi guys! My KTM400exc is being delivered today but I am not sure how to go about setting up my spring pre-load / compression/rebound. I intend to use the bike mostly on road. I weighted 85kg. Your help and advice is most appreciated!!
BTW do any of you know about the amount of gas in the rear shock of the bike. I heard that the amount is reduced to a miminum for bikes that are shipped overseas to lower the cost of the shipping insurance.

Servus,
If you plan on using the bike mostly on the street, pre-load will be your smallest problem. Besides the manual will tell you all the numbers you need; over here in Europe 6mm of pre-load is stock, but I'm running a little more. For SuperMoto (on the street ;-) heavier springs are recommended up front.

thanks Micheal. I've just got my ktm400exc today and set it according to the manual. I'll be going into super motard so the investment of the spring is a must.:D
