I don't know where I should have my forks in the triple clamps. I want to have my cr be as stable as possible for trail riding. Right now they are about 5mm above the clamps. But on my xr they are flush with the top and on my friend's cr80, they are like 2inches above the top clamp. So...should I leave them were they are, or move them up or down? Thanks for the coming support.

Move down for stability. The manual for my YZ say the lowest you should put them is almost flush with the t-clamp, but so that the cap and the tapered bit(about 3mm on my bike) of the tube are above the top clamp.
