Fork Seals Leaking

My 1992 KDX200 has not been ridden in 9 weeks (due to cylinder replacement). The front fork seals were replaced about 12 months ago with no leaks or problems. Now I've noticed some leakage on both forks. Is this nomal when the bike has not been ridden in a while?

Unfortunetly yes this is normal. 9 weeks might be a bit premautre in my opinion, but my 200 has been sitting in the shed for about 6 months becuase life has been kicking my but lately and I have'nt had time to play. About two months ago I noticed the forks puking all over the floor. I think inactivity causes them to dry out and shrink. Anyway a sure cure for that is new seals and alot of riding thereafter. That's my plan

New seals shouldn't be puking in 6 months even if the bike is sitting. Heck, my bikes sit 6 months every year waiting for snow to melt and I've never had that problem. Are you using factory seals? Alot of those "leak proof" aftermarket seals are junk. I always use factory seals and never had a problem.
