Head gasket for 99 YZ400

A friend of mine has blown the head gasket on his 99 YZ 400 for the second time in just a couple of months. The bike only has a few trail rides on it, yet it began to leak antifreeze on his last ride. Everything is stock with the exception of a White Bro. exhaust.
1. Any ideas why this is happening, and what can be done to correct it ?
2. He was told a copper head gasket is available, however the local dealer said one does not exist under a Yamaha part number. Any idea where one could be purchased ?

Any suggestions would be appreciated :D
