02 California KTM 520 EXC

I'v heard that the EXC's headed fro Calif. will be GREEN sticker legal in 02. This means you can plate them and dual sport the bikes. Does anybody know the differences between the Ca models and the 49 state versions. I guessing choked up exhaust, air box and lean jetting or a different carb remembering the KTM.s Quicksilver flop. Any info on this topic would be appreciated.

The local dealer (Malcolm Smith) says that they will attend a show later this month and test ride the new KTM's. Details will be available then.

The XR650R is working out just fine and will stay in the stable for Dual Sport, riding out of my garage and desert. I would like a little lighter bike and the electric start for my tougher trail rides. At my age a few of the comforts to will be appreciated.
