Hello All,
Does anyone have a phone number, addres , website or any info on Little Egypt?, its in souther Illinois. Secondly how is the riding there?, How does it compare to Land Between the Lakes in Kentucky? We like hill climbs and tight technical stuff. Any reccomended places to camp or stay nearby?
thanks in advance for your input

go to the dept of natural resources page look under OHV riding or parks. That of course would be the IL dept of natural resources. this link may help

I know they got money from the state so they should be on the site.

Here's another link to try.

There aren't any long hillclimbs but, there are a lot of hills on the trials. 60 to 80 foot climbs.
It's old stripe mine ground that has grown into woods. Mostly single track type trail riding.
It's about 5 miles east of Marion. Open on Sat. and Sun. right now. HS race there Aug. 19th.

I have only been there 1 time but I did like it. Work and hot weather have kept me from going back. Much tighter than Turkey Bay. They are only open on weekends. Track # 618-982-2992.

If it's the same place as that had the mid south hare scramble (Crab orchard,IL) it was a decent place to ride. Lots of quick ups and downs and tight trails.

Yes, JohninKy it is the same place. BTW are you going to Dirtweek?

I'm still unsure about dirtweek. If I can talk the guy I go riding with into going and things are ok at work I'll go.
