Anybody read the last issue? David flamed Jody (Jodycross Action--ha,ha), and explained why he pulled out of the SX "with bruised ribs", preventing him from pointing out. His explanation of the "availability" of 250 rides is excellent. One can now really understand how a rider might become a "lifetime" 125 rider. With him, it's obviously not "fear" of the 250 class, but the need to make house payments.

Ping is easily one of the funniest guys out there. First thing I do every month when I get my new Racer X is go straight to his column. If he quits riding Im sure he has a good future writing........

Ping rocks. He could be his generation's PJ Rourke. Plus, he came within a gnat hair of winning a SX title. Now he has three more years to pull it off.
He seems like a shrewd bidnessman to me.

This seems to have been going on for the last six years. MXA (i.e. Jody) has been dogging Pingree for the entire time, saying things like go to college, etc. I'm glad D. Coombs gave Ping a place to fight back!
