Do you have to be an AMA member to practice there?

I think Whitney has practices the day before a race and thats it .....

All races at Whitney are AMA sanctioned and yes you do have to be a member in good standing. They never have open practices other than the weekend of an event (which bites). Are you planning on going to the next race out there?
