Which Sprocket?

My friend has a 2001 xr250. It is only 8 months old, but he rides a lot. Both sprockets are worn bad. He is missing a tooth on the front one, and the rear has only nubs left. Is it something he's doing, or are the Honda stock sprockets trash?
Any suggestions on a good sprocket for him?

All Asian bikes come with cheap stock sprockets. Try www.sprocketspecialists.com. The hard anodized aluminum sprockets rule.

Junk chains is the reason the sprockets go away so fast. Don't pinch pennies when you buy the replacement chain. Cheap junk chains=ruined sprockets

my yz,and rm's came witrh sunstars on them so did my bro's cr, this is not true that all japanese bikes come with cheap sprockets your fired there probably doesnt luve the chain after each ride cause lubing the chain extends the life on the sprockets and chain, i had sunstars on my yz and they lasted me 8 months thats pretty long after pounding lap after lap on them for 8 months, also the best chainlube i use is bel-ray super clean
