Best springs at cheapest price?

I am in the market for some new springs (SOFTER!), and there are so many brands to choose from. What brands are good, and where is the cheapst place to buy them. Any places with free shipping? I don't know the first thing about suspension.

Parts Direct in vegas sells RT springs at discounted prices , they advertise in most of the mags.
Lowes racing advertises in Cycle News at good prices but I don`t know anything about their quality.

I just ordered a stiffer Shock spring (2000 CR250) from Jeremy Wilkey. I have heard nothing but good about Jeremy's (MX-Tech) parts and service.
I figure that MX-Tech will eventually service and revalve the shock, so I might as well purchase my spring from them.
