Adding fork oil

I read in magazine that you could add up to 5ml of fork oil through the air bleed. Is this accurate? My bike is a 97YZ250, and I'd like to try adding oil, my compression is at 2 turns out and still bottom out on the bigger jumps.

Yes, you can add oil in through the air bleed hole. Get a small syringe and add 5cc's at a time to each side. You really don't want to use your clicker's though to try & control bottoming. Your oil height and spring rate will do this.
