Spark Arrester

I'm a rookie, but a friend of Taraker in California.
He convinced me to buy a YZ426F even though I never road in my life. I still haven't gotten out of 1st gear.
Regardless, I've been trying to ride on govt. property and they say I need a Spark Arrester- after going to several dealers, they said that they don't make one for the YZ426F and I need to buy a whole new exhaust that costs $289 bucks. Are these guys screwing me or is there an alternative?

You might see if someone who has a WR want's to sell their's cheap. You could put a screen in the one you have, but I don't think the Forest Service will approve of that.

BMP or something like that, sells a disc system that goes in a yz pipe.

A friend of mine builds an adapter that goes in to the YZ426 muffler that will
accept the E-Series Disks from White Bothers. If you are interested drop me an email at jamest@netapp.com and I'll get you hooked up.
