tips for changing fork oil

Can anyone tell me what steps I need to follow to change my fork oil, I know that you have to loosen/remove the 14mm screw with the valving on it from the bottom of the forks. But do you have to remove the top of the forks/the part with the rebound adjuster/by the handlebars for any other reason then to and the new oil? Any help would be greatly apperciated.

do you have ti bleed the forks at all when I install the new oil?

98 cr, I suggest you buy Eric Gorrs video on the subject. Its very good, shows you how to do it and the tools you will need.
