(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Posted by: MWXR350---------------------

I'm having mw son's KDX200 cylinder re-chromed. Who is the best
company to use for this job? Cost $ is a factor, but we want a good job done.........

Posted by: smarttoys---------------------

I've always been happy with US Chrome and they have stood behind their work.

Thanks, a local shop has told me the same thing. Its good to here it from a
couple sources. Are they about as resonable as everyone else?

Posted by: smarttoys---------------------

I think their prices are competitive.

They charged $150 to re-plate my 220. I don't have it installed yet, but it looks to be high quality.

they all send to US chrome any way© there orders„fredette & gorr¤ are already fast tracked threw us chrome system© plus if the job is'nt satisfactory, you have to deal with us chrome„good luck!¤ or deal with a fellow biker who needs to stand behind the service, plus with Mr gorr you just remove the cylinder and ship it, he take cares of all the kipps valve service for you! he shipps it back just about ready to install© us chrome you still have to assemble the kipps valve and lube it© if you have US chrome do the job©

I called Gorr first. I told him I already had the cylinder completely disassembled, and he just gave me the number for U.S. Chrome. I believe he said that's where he sends plate work.
