Urgent! Broken Brake Bolt

I was making final preparations on my KDX this evening getting ready for tomorrow's ride, and while I was tightening the bolt that holds the front brake lever on (gold-colored and about an inch long) it snapped. If someone could help me, I need a quick fix that can get me through tomorrow. If nothing genius comes to mind, I guess I'll just shove a spare bolt in there and hope for the best, but I'm worried about brake performance. Thanks for your help!

shove another bolt in mate; unless it's real sloppy it won't make jack-**** difference to your brake performance...it's called 'bush mechanics'!
