Anybody tried mixing 10 and 5 wt...seems like you would end up w~7 (10 +5/2)=7.5....this work
:think of course keeping the same brand of oil.

... but the reason I'm responding is to warn against mixing brands. When I had gold valves and mixed some Race Tech, Honda and Spectro fork oils, The gold valves corroded and turned to brown valves. This indicates bad mojo.
