plastic plating?????seen in magazines

bbr had a few bikes where the plastic had a chrome like finish. one was red, a honda framed yz250f and one was blue a honda framed ttr225 motored bike
anyone know who does this?

Yup, I know all about it. The coating was done by Vacuum Metalizing and it does not last very well at all. The number is on my company's FAQ page. http://www.bbrmotorsports.com/Questions.htm
