mildly humorous story from the track

a buddy and i went racing last nite. he has had a crush on the track owner's daughter for awhile now but hasn't got up the nerve to ask her out. she races in the women's open class and he races 250 beginner. the turnout was fairly light so they ran women's with 250 beginner. he won the first moto but he was late for the second moto and they dropped the gate before he got to the line. on the third lap he caught up to her. she went down in a turn and he ran over her head and arm. the emts thought that her arm was broken and put it in a sling. after the races we all three talked for awhile then i said to her that he should make it up to her somehow. after i walked away (nice set-up if i do say so myself), he asked her out to dinner to make amends and she accepted.
what a way to get a first date.:D

Nicely done. As far as dating goes, it usually ends with pain rather than starting that way. I didnt realize that you were such the matchmaker. Pretty smooth, that. Now if you can just work with TX246 on his gas station\mooning ettiquet (sp).
