Buchanan spokes

I laced up a new set of Excel rims with Buchanan spokes for my KX250 about a year ago. These wheels have been excellent. While washing my bike yesterday, I noticed that one of the front spokes is missing. Admitedly, I never checked their tightness and this one apparently backed out completely and fell out. Interestingly, the wheel is still almost perfectly true. To the point of my post, I called Buchanan for a replacement spoke and they sent me one free of charge. That's the type of service that will bring me back to Buchanan the next time I buy spokes.

I use their spokes too and think they are great. I am glad to know they stand behind their stuff like that. 3 of their very soft nipples have stripped on me and I was not looking forward to buying new ones. I will contact them to get some more.

BTW, tighten your spokes!
