Anyone riding in the Training Wheels Family Enduro at Foresthills, CA. on October 14th??

My son, daughter, wife and I are all riding. If the dust isn't too bad it should be a lot of fun!

I'm going. I hope I can finish at least one enduro this year:silly:

Both my husband and I are planning on being there with bells on.
Actually, I am the one riding it...he paid his entry fee to follow me
around so I don't kill myself (or anyone else). He is the one with
the computer so he plans on doing my timekeeping, maintenance, coaching,
cheerleading, etc. I am sure that I am looking forward to it more
than he is!

See you there!
Karna

I just called the Morning Star camp ground and they mentioned to me that the Enduro might be cancelled. They stated that this was something that they
heard from other riders due to how dry it has been this summer.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

Here is the official word from Frank Giraffe:
******

The Training Wheels Family Enduro (previously scheduled for 10/14) has been POSTPONED. Conditions are dangerously dusty at Foresthill, and in cooperation with the Forest Service we have postponed the event. The event is NOT cancelled.

CERA will announce a new event date Tuesday morning.

As always, the latest info can be found on the event's web site:

Stay tuned...

Thanks for posting the info. Good call CERA, I'd rather wait, until conditions are better.

We rode in the Foresthill area this weekend. The silty dust is dangerous - especially to younger and less experienced riders. While I think we are expecting rain this week, it is a good call by CERA.

BTW, we got our numbers late last week and my son and I are in row 1 (1B and 1C)... we were kind of excited about the prospect of being out the gate with very little dust!
