What a great race!

Yesterday was the 4th annual Big rooster cross-country. I raced in my usual class(junior over). The track was a 50km loop( 2hrs), and it had some very technical sections.Their was 25 guys in my class. I got of to a great start, 4th. From their i worked my way up throughout the race and passed 15 guys. I knew i was doing good, until all hell broke loose. About half way through, i started loosing it. I was getting really sloppy, and i was starting to go down lots. My front end wouldn't stay still, and was very unstable. This one guy that that i was trying to pass on this hill, started to slow down and i was right on his but. His front end came straight up, and thats when i decided to pass him. Well lets just say my front tire hit his front fender, and he went way down the bank. I didn't mean to do that, but hey thats racing, I'm not going to stop on a hill cuz he wipes out. There was one kid in my class(my age), and he was the organizers son. So he knew every corner, rock, and stump on the track. I wanted to beat him so bad. But in the end i came in 2min after this kid with him getting 1st and i got 2nd. But hey i had never rode the track before, and we found out after the race that my front tire was right flat(so thats what made all the hell brake loose) . In the awards i won a really nice Acerbis impact jersey, so that paid for my entry fee.This was the best marked track, and best track that i've ever ridden, and everyone else said the same thing.
