After the mounting bracket broke off of my JR 50 silencer, I discovered that the bike runs better without it and is still plenty quiet.

My thoughts exactly, I know 3 people with this bike that had the same thing happen and said no reason to fix it.

I have a 93 jr 50 & took the silencer of just to make it run beter

if you realy want one I'll sell you mine. but I wouldn't put it back on

OK Im sold... I wont bother with getting one.... any tips on making it run better?
