DRZ owners please help

Ok guys, I went ahead and bought a '01 DRZ400 e. I couldn't pass it up at $3999.00 plus fees. My question is now that its in its warm garage, what is the first thing I should do i.e. suspension set up tips, anything I should watch out for? Thanks for your tips in advance.

Pull the seat, then pull the lid off the airbox. It's rubber, no tools required. Then put a 158 main jet in. Loosen the carb mount clamps and rotate the carb to access the drain cap on the bowl. It's just above the starter motor. Take that cap off and you'll see the main jet. Changing it, however, will require some dexterity! Rotate the carb as far as you can and eventually you can get it. Ya just have to hold your tongue right! This is the absolute best mod for this bike and definitely the most bang for your buck (3 bucks, that is).

Most Jap bikes require grease in suspension linkage and the front steering stem bearings. They don't grease them enough from the factory.
