Yup, Sterling it is. Mike were you out there this weekend? I was there Sunday for a while.

Hey guys, yeah there isn't really much land here to ride on. The Prince Wiliiam Off Road Coalition has some land their setting up to build a track and trails on, but until then its slim pickens. BTW where in Sterling are you guys talking about?

Hey Guys;

Just wanted to let you guys know about our track in Harrisonburg. It may be a little far for some of you to drive, but it's a good track with real nice people.
The track is 1.25 miles and is a good test. There is also a small woods course laid out also. We have a couple of members from Manassas, so I'm sure you all would be welcome. Give me a call if you would like to get more info.
540-867-5384 or 540-289-5051 x.115

Bowhunter, I've been going behind exxon most of the time lately. If you need some help breaking in that new track let me know:D Might be able to smooth out a few sections for you as I slide across the ground.
JasonB does that track have open practice?

Posted by: andym---------------------

I'm from VA, Wise to be exact. Riding in VA isn't the best but its located near lots of excellent riding areas.

KXTodd;

Our track is a members only track. You can bring guests. If you are a member, you can rider whenever you want. We have about 50 members,and rarely have more than a handful of people riding at one time during the racing season. During the fall and winter weekends there can be 10-15 people riding. For the most part it's very laid back.

i ride in stafford, we have 100 some miles of trails, but unfortuantely on track thats no more than .5 a mile, and only about 10 miles of good tight woods riding

I'm in Charlottesville and am just getting back into the sport. Don't have too many options right now. A few private places right now that I'm working on, but nothing much public at this point. There is a motocross track, and some fairly open mountain trails in Bacon Hollow. Ten bucks per day. Open seven days a week to anyone with a brain, bike, and helmet. I'm looking for some good hare scrambles type of riding to get back into my groove. Not looking for anything too hilly right now though. I need to get my arms back first.

Check this link, I haven't been there but looks like it's actually open. http://www.thelandingmx.com/index.htm
I talked to a guy a couple weeks ago about a riding area near Laurel somewhere ? he said you can see it from 95, I might see if he's going out there this weekend and check it out.
