Wanted 80cc 2 stroke

Want to buy an 80 cc 2 stroke motocross bike. (CR, YZ, KX etc). Looking for an older year, as I am attempting to keep price well under $1000. Bike is Christmas surprize for relatively new rider rider who has outgrown XR. Prefer North East US area. Please contact via e mail spt23dc@aol.com

Nobody?! Even one with a blown motor is OK? Somebody has got to have an 80 out there with a blown top and bottom end?! Or please point me to a good direction to look for one.

go to www.cycletrader.com and search for cr80 and kx80 in new jersey. There was a 85 cr80 for 1000 albeit negotiable(sp?) and a 87 kx80 asking 900. HERE is the link to the cr.
the kx had a mojave and pw80 for sale in the same add.. look around on cycletrader, and your sure to find something...

Thanks for the suggestion. I have been there and the bikes which are a fair deal are gone real quick, but I will keep looking there. The 85 CR80 is owned by a kid who claims it has been bored an now it is 110cc...and he is firm which I feel is a ridiculous price for a bike that is going on 17 years old.
