1. When the dirtbike tracks end and all you see are footprints you REALLY SHOULD TURN AROUND - bulldogged the last 500 feet straight down.

2. Fire doesn't burn manzanita - it just removes the leaves and work hardens the branchs - adios one good THOR jersey and hello a beating worthy of good money with a S&M specialist.

3.The shortest way might be a straight line between 2 points but that sure doesn't mean it's the quickest way - spent an hour fighting our way down a snotty, overgrown canyon when the hillclimb we wanted to try was some damn goat challenge test, and we couldn't go back the way we came.

4. Gravity always goes down, so do waterfalls and cliffs - see #3.

5. When it's almost dark and you are on the road home, don't take no durn shortcuts - see #3. Glad I have good night vision!

6. No matter how much punishment I inflict on myself, a day riding beats the snot out of a day at work any time

You're just figuring this out now?!

Make another note to yourself while you're at it: if he's riding behind you for any extended period of time and won't pass..... he's just checkin' out your ass.

That darn Kiwi - and here I thought he was being nice offering to ride sweep part time when GSR is with us. Hmmmm - and he is on the prowl too!
GSR, Don't worry about Kiwi and the fork seals, I'll be home in an hour to do them
