I want a late 80's to early 90's 250 motocrosserin northern IL. Any make will do though preferably a Kawi or Honda, also if anyone knows of a 500 of the same era for sale @ a relativly cheap price that runs, let me know. All of the mentioned bikes must run, though dont have to run like new either.No fixer-uppers please.

i have an 88 cr 500 in great shape that i'd sell or trade for a kdx 200 in same shape.

Bil whereare you in iowa(how close to the il border)? and how much are you askin for the Cr500? Sorry but I'm not gonna trade my Kdx unless it's for a newer one.

TMKDXER I would sell my 500 for 1500 if I had a 200 lined up to buy. I'm about two hours from Burlington IA. Do you guys have any hillclimb events around there? I just recently got back into riding bikes I've been out of it for several years. My son is really getting into it now and we've been riding about every weekend for the past month or so. We have two riding areas within half an hour of our house. One is an old strip mining pit with several trails ,hills, and two moto x tracks. Well got to put my new moose levers on now catch ya later.

Bill,dont want to deprove you of a bike if you dont have a spare and you and you son just got into the sport.Yeah we've got some hillclimbs around here about 45-1hr away from my house. I also ride in a gravel pit that's currently in use(god flattracking is great!).Like I said I dont want to go takin a bike away from a father and son duo, like my old man tried to do this summer, but if you get another bike let me know and we'll work something out with the 500.
